MEET OUR PRINCIPAL

A VISIONARY LEADER FOR GLOBAL PEACE THROUGH EDUCATION

Alisha-Aggarwal-Vice-Principal

Ms. Alisha Aggarwal

Vice-Principal
MIT World Peace School, Alandi

With a distinguished career spanning 16 years in educational leadership, Ms. Alisha Aggarwal serves as a cornerstone of the administrative team at MIT World Peace School, Alandi. As a dedicated scholar-practitioner, her leadership is defined by a rare synthesis of academic depth and administrative precision.

Ms. Aggarwal’s multifaceted approach to pedagogy is informed by an extensive academic portfolio, holding Master’s degrees in English, Psychology, Education, and Management. Demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology, a pursuit that allows her to bring evidence-based psychological insights into the classroom and school culture.

Ms. Aggarwal posits that true education is a transformative journey rather than a passive acquisition of data. Her philosophy is built upon three core pillars:

  • Leveraging her background in Psychology, she advocates for a curriculum that balances rigorous intellectual inquiry with emotional intelligence (EQ).

  • She believes that moral fortitude is a "21st-century skill" as vital as digital literacy. By prioritizing character-building, she prepares students to navigate a complex global landscape with integrity.

  • Rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach, she views the educator’s role as an excavator of talent, helping each student identify and refine their unique strengths.

As Vice Principal, Ms. Aggarwal is dedicated to scaling the excellence of MIT World Peace School through a forward-thinking strategic lens. She envisions a learning environment where traditional values meet modern inquiry, ensuring students are both culturally rooted and globally competitive. Her leadership style is rooted in the "Management" discipline—fostering a collaborative ecosystem where teachers are empowered as mentors and parents are engaged as partners. Her vision extends beyond the school gates; she aims to graduate "World Citizens" who possess the critical thinking to solve global problems and the compassion to serve humanity.

"Education is the medium through which we bridge the gap between who a child is and who they have the potential to become. My mission is to ensure that this bridge is built on the pillars of peace, knowledge, and unshakeable character."
